Well, after more than a year's break...
(personal, family & financial matters to tend to, a good bit of travel locally, as well as to Florida's Gulf Coast/Everglades & several weeks in Europe...)
I have decided to continue on with this blog.

- I have always been intrigued by Europeans and their way of life. They seem to have such a balance between work, play, family, friends, obligations, community,(naps!), etc...and always find time to enjoy the ordinary things in day-to-day living. I have tried my best to raise my family this way, but it hasn't been easy in this age of over-scheduled-children and 'supermoms'. So I made a conscious effort several years ago to slow down, simplify our schedules and make time for the things that matter. This is the life I desire, the good life...La Bonne Vie.
